The production company Sight and Sound Theatres announces the live premiere of “Queen Esther” and indicates that it will be a world debut.
After three years, “Queen Esther” tries to captivate the audience while experiencing one of the most wonderful biblical stories of the Old Testament.
The production was scheduled to open in March, but was delayed because of the pandemic.
Queen Esther’s story of courage and faith will come alive like never before. The live performance, which features spectacular scenery, visual effects and live animals, will premiere on September 14 at 7:00 pm Eastern Time.
“This show is really destined for a time like this,” said Sight & Sound Creative Director Josh Enck.
Also, they report that the live event will include a 30-minute pre-show, a 20-minute intermission, more behind-the-scenes interviews and an inside look at how the production was set up.
“The thrill of live theater is seeing the show unfold before your eyes,” Enck said. “We’re very excited to bring that same experience to everyone,” he added.
The additional live broadcasts will air on the new broadcast platform, Sight & Sound TV, September 5-6.
