Countries not reached by the Covid-19 pandemic

These are the 5 African countries that bring together the small list of nations in the world that have not yet recorded cases of the new COVID-19 coronavirus.

Some of these countries attribute this to God’s grace and in some cases to their air isolation, others on their part accept that failure to register cases may be due to lack of screening.

Dr. Abdou Ada believes that the massive malaria procedure has the Comoros archipelago, located in the Indian Ocean between Madagascar and Mozambique, safe from the terrible effects of the current pandemic.

“This is a personal conviction that needs to be confirmed scientifically,” he said.

The small southern African kingdom of approximately 2 million inhabitants began its confinement on Monday for 25 days, although it does not register any contagion.

Malawi asked those arriving from abroad to be quarantined, which Dr Bridget Maleuezi said has helped the country to “protect” themselves.

“We have evidence and we have applied it,” said Ministry of Health spokesman Joshua Malango.

“Maleuezi said that although the country “is not 100% ready” it prepares for the arrival of the virus “from one moment to the next”. Added

Sao Tome and Principe

The archipelago of Sao Tome and Principe, located in the Atlantic Ocean, has not settled any cases since they do not have the means to carry out the screening tests.  She said the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in the country, Anne Ancia.

South Sudan

Dr. Angok Gordon Kuol, one of the guarantors in the fight against coronavirus at the Ministry of Health, noted that the country has not recorded cases because it does not have “strong air traffic”.
