In the U.S., in the state of Tennessee, on July 15, authorities officially named the 24th exit exchange that joins Interstate 26 of Highway 321 in Johnson City, as the “Billy Graham Memorial Exchange.
Such recognition was given to his grandson Will Graham, with different local media and concerned with the ministry, the sign was revealed in honor of the recognized evangelist Billy Graham who died on February 21, 2018.
“He was the most humble man. A very kind man. And he was a very gentle man,” said his grandson, Will Graham, according to the official website of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
Each year the General Laws designate roads, highways and bridges in the State of Tennessee to honor personalities who have left a legacy.
Billy Graham was an advisor to U.S. presidents and was the recipient of many awards, including the Congressional Gold Medal. He is always remembered for his work; taking the gospel of Christ to the corners of the earth.
Other roads that like this one bear his name, such as the Billy Graham Parkway in Charlotte, North Carolina (where he grew up), the Billy Graham Highway in Asheville, North Carolina, and Billy Graham Avenue in Cleveland, Tennessee.
