The Israeli defence forces in the area remain on high alert for the fifth consecutive day.
The Israeli Defense has deployed additional troops and military equipment to the border with Lebanon this July 28, according to The Jerusalem Post.
The city of Tel Aviv has mobilized advanced weapons and intelligence systems, as well as special equipment, a day after the «security event» in the area, an official spokesman said.
Also a correspondent of the Ynet portal, reports that Israeli troops in the area remain on high alert for the fifth consecutive day, and occupy places far from the border; however, so far there have been no new attempts of aggression.
The event took place when they bombarded with artillery the land where the Shab’a Farms are located, a site that is located on adjacent land that was occupied by Israel in 1967, and claimed by Lebanon.
Hours later, Israel’s defence defined that offensive as an attempted incursion by Hizbollah militants, who would respond to the death of a member of that militarized Shiite organization, in an Israeli air strike three days before the event.
For its part, Hezbollah claimed that the Israeli military took «nervous measures» by firing and «everything Tel Aviv claims about the situation is totally false».
